Alexis Rosasco
Born in North Adams and raised in the Berkshires, Alexis Rosasco, is a lifelong artist. She began drawing as a child and attended Mount Greylock Regional High School, where she found a supportive art teacher, Je Desomma, who encouraged her to focus further in the direction of the arts.
The summers of her youth were spent in art classes, workshops, and open figure drawing studies at Williams College, The Clark Art Museum, and the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. After a painting and drawing apprenticeship with professional artist, Debi Pendell, Alexis's portfolio gained her acceptance to one of the country's best art schools.
After graduating from Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, Alexis found herself drawn into the tattoo industry by an acquaintance in 2015. She opened AR Designs Fine Art & Tattoo in 2017 with the desire to serve her community in a warm, welcoming, and safe tattoo environment.
Alexis specializes in realism, surrealism, and illustrative tattoos. Her favorite things to tattoo are wildlife, pet portraits, floral pieces, insects, ornamental designs, and region specific folk art.
